Terms of Supply

This page (together with the documents referred to on it) tells you the terms on which we supply any of our products, services and programmes, including the Separation Anxiety Confidence Club, listed on this website (our site) to you, whether we conclude the contract for such supply electronically or by telephone.

Please read these terms of supply carefully before ordering any products or services from us. By ordering, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not accept these terms, you will not be able to order from us.

1. Information about us

This site is operated by Best Buddies Dog Training & Behaviour (referred to as “we”, “us”, or “our”).

2. Your status

By placing an order with us, you confirm that:
a. You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts; and
b. You are at least 18 years old.

3. Consumer rights and cancellation

Digital products and online programmes (including the Separation Anxiety Confidence Club) do not fall within the standard UK “cooling-off” period once access has been granted.

If you experience any issues, please contact us at jan@bestbuddiesdogtrainingandbehaviour.comand we will respond within 48 working hours.

4. Risk and title in products

  1. Ownership of any materials or access will only pass to you once full payment has been received.

  2. Purchases are for individual use only. Access (including logins) must not be shared.

  3. If we reasonably believe access is being shared, we reserve the right to terminate access immediately without refund.

5. Price and payment

  1. Prices are as stated on our website at the time of purchase.

  2. Prices include VAT where applicable.

  3. Prices may change at any time but will not affect confirmed orders.

  4. If a pricing error occurs, we reserve the right to cancel or amend the order.

  5. We are not obliged to honour incorrect pricing where the error is obvious.

Instalments

  1. Where instalment plans are agreed, payments must be made on time.

  2. If payment is missed, we reserve the right to:

    • Charge interest on overdue amounts (4% above base rate)

    • Recover reasonable debt collection costs

    • Suspend or remove access to services and materials

6. Refund Policy

  1. Digital products and online programmes are non-refundable once access has been granted.

  2. Any refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

  3. Please email jan@bestbuddiesdogtrainingandbehaviour.com with any queries.

  4. We reserve the right to remove individuals from any associated community spaces (e.g. Facebook groups) at our discretion. These are provided as a bonus and are not part of the paid service.

7. Intellectual Property

  1. All content remains the property of Best Buddies Dog Training & Behaviour.

  2. You are granted a non-transferable, non-exclusive licence for personal use only.

  3. You must not copy, distribute, share, reproduce, or sell any materials.

8. Warranty

We will:
a. Provide services with reasonable care and skill;
b. Ensure materials match their description.

All other warranties are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Data Protection

We will use your personal data to:

  • Deliver services

  • Manage your account

  • Communicate with you

Your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Our liability

  1. Nothing excludes liability for death, injury, fraud, or anything unlawful to exclude.

  2. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the product or service.

  3. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including:

    • Loss of income

    • Loss of business

    • Loss of data

    • Loss of goodwill

    You are responsible for how you use the information provided.

Training Disclaimer & Client Responsibility

  1. All training guidance, courses, digital products, memberships and educational materials provided by Best Buddies Dog Training & Behaviour are undertaken at the client’s own discretion and risk.

  2. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure their dog is physically fit and healthy enough to participate in any training activities. Where there are any concerns regarding health, behaviour or welfare, veterinary advice should be sought before proceeding.

  3. Best Buddies Dog Training & Behaviour uses kind, force-free and evidence-based methods. However, no specific training or behavioural outcome can be guaranteed. Every dog is an individual and progress will vary depending on factors including consistency, environment, health and the dog’s individual needs.

  4. Clients remain fully responsible for:

    • their dog’s behaviour and welfare;

    • the management of their dog within the home and wider environment;

    • any injury, loss, damage or claims involving their dog.

    5. Best Buddies Dog Training & Behaviour and Jan Rawlings shall not be held liable for:

    • injury to any person or dog;

    • damage to property;

    • self-injurious behaviour;

    • complaints from neighbours or third parties;

    • or any losses arising from the application or misuse of training advice, guidance or educational materials.

    6. Clients are responsible for following training guidance appropriately and for progressing at a pace suitable for their individual dog.

    7. Remote coaching, online memberships, digital products, recorded materials and online sessions are undertaken at the client’s own risk.

11. Import duties (if applicable)

If physical items are supplied internationally, you are responsible for any customs charges.

12. Communication

You agree that communication may be electronic (email or website notices), and this satisfies legal requirements.

14. Transfer of rights

You may not transfer your access or place in any programme without written permission.

15. Events outside our control

We are not liable for delays or failure caused by events beyond our control (e.g. technical issues, illness, natural events).

16. Waiver

Failure to enforce any part of these terms does not waive our rights.

17. Severability

If any part of these terms is invalid, the remainder will still apply.

18. Entire agreement

These terms form the full agreement between you and us.

19. Changes to terms

We may update these terms at any time. The terms in force at purchase will apply.

20. Law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by English law and subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
