Meet Your Instructor
Hi I’m Jan Rawlings and I’ve been supporting dogs and their owners for over 20 years.
Separation anxiety is something I’ve worked with extensively, guiding families through the ups and downs, the slow days and the breakthroughs.
My approach is rooted in science-based, ethical methods and careful pacing, always considering the individual dog in front of us.
I don’t believe in rushing the process. I don’t believe in rigid timelines. And I don’t believe in adding pressure to already overwhelmed owners.
BUT… What I do believe in is structure, consistency and calm guidance, helping you feel confident in the steps you’re taking and supported while you take them.

Separation anxiety exists on a spectrum. The Club is designed for owners who are ready to work
carefully and consistently at their dog’s pace. If your dog requires intensive, highly personalised
support, one-to-one coaching may be more appropriate.
-
All live sessions are recorded and available to replay. You can also submit questions in advance if
you’re unable to attend live.
-
No. The SA Confidence Club provides structured guidance, live coaching and community support,
but it does not replace personalised one-to-one training.
-
Progress varies from dog to dog. Some members notice early shifts, while for others progress is
slower but steady. What matters most is building safely and consistently rather than rushing ahead.

Membership begins with a three-month foundation period. After this, ongoing membership (if you
choose to continue) can be cancelled with one month’s written notice.
